Be a Volunteer, Make a Difference!
We are continually seeking additional support to maintain the ongoing success of our league. The diagram below outlines the many tasks required to operate a Little League effectively.
Also listed below are all the volunteer positions at the GLL. Some are vacant, and others will become vacated during the 2024 season. All vacant positions must be filled as they are instrumental in ensuring the effective operation of the league with no interruption to programming.
Most positions do not require baseball experience or knowledge. Regardless of the role, existing board members are committed to ensuring volunteers receive the training and mentoring necessary for seamless and comfortable integration.
There is no denying that certain volunteer roles require more time commitment than others, but you can decide which position is right for you. We firmly believe that the rewards far outweigh the investment.
We warmly invite more people to join us in this fulfilling endeavour, including students looking to complete their volunteer hours. Also, having a child registered in a GLL program is not a requisite.
Whether you have experience in coaching, event coordination, administrative tasks, or simply have a desire to learn and contribute, there's a place for you in our league community. Your involvement not only enhances the experience for the children but also strengthens our league as a whole. Together, let's create an unforgettable season for our young athletes.
